Grant Program

Grant Program

  • This program is for tenure-track faculty members in their first to fourth year who hold M.D. and/or Ph.D. degrees at United States academic institutions.
  • Provides the startup support necessary to position the project for independent research funding such as an NIH R01 grant.
  • Submissions are limited to one candidate per U.S. university or biomedical research institution.

Scholar Program

  • This program is for tenure-track faculty members in their fifth to eighth year who hold M.D. and/or Ph.D. degrees at United States academic institutions.
  • Provides the support necessary to position the project to the point where NIH or other independent funding can be obtained.
  • Program is by invitation only.  Thirty-one of the leading U.S. biomedical research institutions are invited to submit two candidates.
  • Program offers $125,000 annually over a 4-year period.
